Skills Development Scotland (SDS)

Support in School

Whether you're thinking about subject choices, exploring career ideas, applying for college or university, considering an apprenticeship, or planning your next steps after school, Skills Development Scotland (SDS) is here to help. We provide free, impartial careers information, advice and guidance to all pupils through one-to-one appointments, group sessions and careers events.

Support After School

SDS support doesn't stop when you leave school. Careers advisers can continue to support people of all ages with career planning, learning and training opportunities, job searching and career changes through local SDS centres, community venues and the national helpline.
